The “R” Factor creates a memorable social or corporate event with experienced professional entertainers who cater to every musical detail. Their customers experaince the remarkable voices of their four singers and eight-piece band, which include a three-piece horn section, a four-piece rhythm section and one violin.
This group of 15 musicians is the last entity to perform as The Rupert’s Orchestra of Minneapolis, and although the name has changed, The “R” Factor performs every week at clubs and private events throughout Minneapolis, and is in high demand on the corporate entertainment scene, performing for numerous events throughout the United States. This heavy performance schedule assures their corporate clients a product that is well rehearsed and extremely polished.
The Musical virtuosity displayed by members of The “R” Factor have earned individuals performances with the likes of Smokey Robinson, The Neville Brothers, Celine Dion, Donny Osmond, Huey Lewis, and Salt & Pepper, just to name a few.
Clearly the trademark of The “R” Factor is the versatility of its 8-featured vocalists. With each singer adding his or her own distinctive vocal style and high powered energy, The “R” Factor can perform the musical gamut with a skill level that is second to none.
Leader and Musical Director, Emil Campbell has served as Leader and Musical Director of The R Factor ever since they changed the name of the band from the Rupert’s Orchestra back in 2020.
As a member of the Rupert’s Orchestra, which use to have it’s own nightclub and restaurant, Emil has maintained the band as a working entity ever since, performing for nightclubs, weddings, private parties, and corporate events. Emil’s tireless efforts have always gone above and beyond the call of duty. His work ethics have been invaluable to the success of The “R” Factor.
Emil has been described as ‘energetic’, ‘dynamic’ and ‘versatile’. His electric presence on stage has earned Emil wide acclaim from Florida to Las Vegas, where he made his mark with dynamic impersonations of Michael Jackson, and Prince. He was the music director for Anita Ward, who put out the hit single Ring My Bell, and has been in plays such as the hit musical Inner City Opera.
Featuring the music of Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, and Harry Connick Jr. the “R” Factor also features a large selection of past and current TOP 40 HITS. This group of 15 musicians and vocalists represents the finest in talent and entertainment in the country. The “R” Factor’s mission is quite simple: To provide their clients a total musical package that meets the specific needs of their client’s event, with a level of service that is unequaled in the music industry.
Their “in-house” staff can provide creative support for all types of events, ranging from dinner / dance music to special shows.
