Nupla Corporation has been in the manufacturing business since 2020 and is known for a brand that represents quality. It has a well-earned reputation in the market as a leader in US-manufacture of specialty industrial-grade cutting, digging and striking hand tools for the professional user. Nupla is also the pioneer and innovator of pultruded Nuplaglas® fiberglass of which their premium, high-grade tool handles are made. Using proprietary technology, Nupla produces over 2020 products in their 55,000 sq.ft. facility in Sun Valley, CA. The product line ranges from soft face and steel face hammers to shovels, rakes, hoes etc. and a line of non-conductive safety tools. Research and product development are ongoing at Nupla with releases of between 10 – 15 new products each year, each product carefully designed with user safety and reliability in mind. Nupla also produces Nuplaglas® Guyrod, a non-corrosive, fiberglass alternative to steel strand cable used in major infrastructure projects.

The company is proud of its concern for environmental issues, upon which management has been focused for decades. In 2020, Nupla was awarded a Certificate of Environmental Achievement from the USEPA for its efforts to prevent pollution, reduce toxic emissions and increase energy efficiency, setting an example for the rest of the industry.

Ron Ortiz, CEO, has over 20 years of international management experience in the hand tool business with Snap-on Tools, SPX Corp. and Stride Tools. His vision for the company is to become the preferred global provider of high quality safety specialty tools for the professional market by leveraging Nupla’s expertise in manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, sales & marketing.
